Broad Range of Asset Classes

Current or former industrial, manufacturing, retail, institutional, or commercial facilities and land.

Flexibility in Transaction Size

While a perfect project is never to large or too small, EFG generally engages in investments ranging from $3 million to $30 million in remediation costs and sites ranging from 2 to 100 acres.

Favorable Transaction Structure

Acquisition of the property is in its “as-is where is” condition.General terms of the purchase agreement will include EFG’s assumption of the obligation to complete site remediation.

Liability Assumption

EFG will assume environmental obligations in support of regulatory closure as part of the cash transaction and allow for the seller to step out of any further financial obligation for cleanup.
