EFG is a land development company which acquires, remediates and repositions environmentally impaired real estate in select primary markets. We are unique in our ability to combine significant capital resources with our in house, regulatory and technical know-how, risk management, land planning and development expertise to rehabilitate unproductive real estate assets and underperforming balance sheets.EFG has the ability to close most transactions on all-cash basis and we have a proven track record of achieving environmental site closure in support of the highest and best reuse for industrial sites, institutional assets and other former brownfield sites across the country.
EnviroFinance Group is actively seeking opportunities to acquire property for redevelopment.EFG’s acquisition criteria are more specifically set forth below:
Broad Range of Asset Classes
Current or former industrial, manufacturing, retail, institutional, or commercial facilities and land.
Flexibility in Transaction Size
While a perfect project is never to large or too small, EFG generally engages in investments ranging from $3 million to $30 million in remediation costs and sites ranging from 2 to 100 acres.
Favorable Transaction Structure
Acquisition of the property is in its “as-is where is” condition.General terms of the purchase agreement will include EFG’s assumption of the obligation to complete site remediation.
EFG will assume environmental obligations in support of regulatory closure as part of the cash transaction and allow for the seller to step out of any further financial obligation for cleanup.
EFG resources are typically deployed in primary North American markets.
